Me today. 220lbs. Down from 294+lbs Feb 2011.
Size 14. 90lbs left to lose, but I feel GREAT for the first time in years.
I’ve been through therapy and am on medication for my depression and I think that’s helped me feel like I’m more than my weight.
THIS FEELING IS THE REAL PROGRESS PICTURE.
A few more from today:

I actually like that my butt looks like a butt and not just a huge blob. THIS IS NEW.

Me at my high weight:

290s vs 210s (the side DURING pic is actually from when I was in the 220s a month or so ago.).
1 year.
Eating clean. Running. Swimming. Elliptical. Weight machines. Strength/Cardio circuits.
I’d still like to lose 80 more lbs.
This is me now in the 210s. I wear a size L shirt and size 14 pants - and these are some outfits I’ve worn out over the past few weeks. I still have about 80lbs left to lose to get to my goal weight.
This was me a year ago at 294+lbs:

I was talking to some friends and they didn’t believe I was over 200lbs still. The only thing I could say to them was STRENGTH TRAINING. Seriously. I’m almost OVER the scale at this point, because my measurements are decreasing faster than my weight at this point and I’ve gone from a size 18 to a size 14 barely having lost any actual WEIGHT.
Ok, for all of you kind, but misguided people who say I don’t look like I’m 220lbs - take a gander at this catastrophe.
There’s nothing like a swimsuit to make a girl feel horrible.
But I’ve just added swimming to my fitness routine as of Saturday, so I’ll just have to suck it up and get over the fact that literally all of my … anatomical discrepancies … are on full display.
Ugh.
I’m posting these pictures because I just want to keep my blog updated and current… so these are going up for precisely no reason.
I didn’t even go to the gym today, but here I am. I did some strength/cardio circuits at home, but no running and no weight training.
Tomorrow, I’ll be there bright and early. WITH MY NEW RUNNING SHOESSSS! I can’t wait to try them out. I’ll post pictures of them tomorrow.
I also am having second thoughts about swimming. I look REALLY TRAGIC in my suit. Like… abysmal. I’m definitely not ready to start swimming tomorrow. Maybe Saturday or Monday. I don’t even know.
Me today. 220-something lbs.
This is going to sound ridiculous, but my doctor is REALLY hot, so I straigtened my hair before I went. I’m a lunatic.
The reason I have my hands like that in the back is because that’s my 2012 hair length goal.
I want waist length hair in the back and I have about 3-4 inches to go… which is definitely doable. (Sad part is, I mark waist length at the lowest BACK ROLL… ugh!)
And I have a little over 4 inches to go in the front before my hair covers my boobs.
I’m trying SO HARD to imagine myself at my goal weight (130lbs - I’m in the 220s now) with long hair. SO HARD!!!!!1!!one!!1!
I’d love to reach BOTH of those goals in 2012. I always post pictures of girls who look like that to keep me motivated and I’d love to be my own inspiration pic for once!
290s vs 220s.
70lbs down. 90lbs to go.
I’ve posted front shots - so here are the ones from the side. Lumpy butt and all.
Eating clean, running, strength/cardio circuits at home, and low weight/high rep rounds on weight machines at the gym got me here - and hopefully will get me the rest of the way.
Plus swimming, which I’m going to start soon. I just have to find a good suit!
I legit cannot believe I’m posting my lumpy ass and back rolls on the internet, but here it is!
This is me in the 220s.
I started here in the 290s (that baby is my niece btw. I don’t have any kids):

So yea. I think one lumpy ass shot is alright in comparison.
Me now:

I still have 90lbs to lose, but if it means that I can see even MORE progress than I have, I’m in for the long haul.
Clean eating, running, strength/cardio circuits, and low weight/high rep weight training on gym machines. I plan to add swimming in the next month.
290s vs 220s.
70lbs down. 90lbs to go.
I’m getting there. SLOWLY… through clean eating, running, strength/cardio circuits, weight machines (low weight/high rep because I’m a beginner), and TIME.
Here I am in the 220s.
I’ve got some comparison body shots coming up of me in the 290s vs me in the 220s.
70lbs down. 90lbs to go.
And my other goals are coming together - to grow my hair out and to have clear skin.
I just can’t wait to see myself at 130lbs.
